About Dr. Dierckman

 

Brian Dierckman, MD, specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee, hip, and shoulder for both adults and children. Dr. Dierckman currently sees patients at Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics’s Southern Hills location in Nashville and the Cool Springs office in Franklin, Tennessee. 

He received his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his surgery internship and residency at Emory University Department of Orthopedics. He then went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Dierckman spent four years at SCOI before joining Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Dierckman attended the University of Notre Dame, where he played collegiate football. He has continued his love of sport by acting as a team physician for schools in Indiana and California. Dr. Dierckman routinely lectures and teaches around the country, training other surgeons in cutting-edge techniques of the hip. 

Dr. Dierckman’s specialties include hip impingement and labral tears, hip dysplasia, arthritis of the hip and knee, knee ligament tears, meniscus and cartilage injuries, rotator cuff tears, bursitis, shoulder, labral tears and instability, anterior approach hip replacement with computer navigation, periacetabular osteotomy, hip arthroscopy including labral reconstruction, cartilage and meniscus repair/reconstruction/transplant in the knee, multi-ligamentous and revision ACL knee surgery.

TAYLOR MOORE, FNP-C

Taylor graduated with BSN/nursing at Samford University and complete her MSN/Nurse Practitioner School at Vanderbilt University. She went on to work as RN in Trauma and Burn ICU at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, RN in Internal Medicine, and NP at Impact Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. Taylor has always had a passion for healthcare and orthopedics. She has expertise in treating head to toe acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions (in all ages) and head to toe injections using musculoskeletal ultrasound guidance and non-ultrasound injections. Outside of the clinic, Taylor enjoys working out, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends, family, and my animals. She hope to travel across the world and one day have a small farm.
