About Dr. Willers
Jeffrey Willers, MD, specializes in orthopedic surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Willers sees patients at Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics’s Midtown location in Nashville and Cool Springs office in Franklin, Tennessee.
Originally from Georgia, Dr. Willers received an undergraduate degree in biology from Emory University and obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Following a surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Willers completed a fellowship at the prestigious OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. Willers is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has specific interests in sports-related injuries, trauma, adult reconstruction, and degenerative and arthritic problems.
Dr. Willers serves as a team physician for Lipscomb University. He previously served as a professional football team doctor from 2005-2018. In addition, Dr. Willers has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2017-2024.

Hannah works primarily with Dr. Jeffrey D. Willers, in support of his practice specializing in surgery of the foot and ankle. Originally from Nashville, TN, Jameice Holmes, a Physician Assistant (PA-C), earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Lipscomb University. She completed her undergraduate education at Birmingham-Southern College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Jameice has experience working in both hospital and clinic settings and works alongside Dr. Willers in providing patient-centered orthopedic care. She was drawn to healthcare by a desire to help patients feel informed and supported during what can often be overwhelming medical experiences. Outside of work, Jameice enjoys exercising, drawing and painting, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
