About Dr. Moore
Orthopedic surgeon David Moore, MD, specializes in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics. Dr. Moore sees patients at the Midtown and Green Hills locations in Nashville and Cool Springs office in Franklin, Tennessee.
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dr. Moore attended the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill on the prestigious Morehead Scholarship. While at UNC, he majored in biology and economics and was a member of the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team. He continued his studies at Vanderbilt School of Medicine in Nashville, where he earned his medical degree and performed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Moore then completed his sports medicine fellowship with Dr. James Andrews at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama, where he served as team physician for Tuskegee University and assistant team physician for the Washington Redskins.
Dr. Moore is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the NFL Physician’s Society. He serves as the team physician for Lipscomb University.
He served as a professional football head team physician from 2016-2018 and as a professional hockey head team physician from 2007-2008. Dr. Moore was recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2015-2024.

Originally from Bloomington, Indiana, Jocelyn Rollins, an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-BC), received her Master of Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Prior to completing her graduate studies, Jocelyn attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jocelyn works primarily with Dr. David R. Moore, in support of his practice specializing sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, and elbow. In her spare time, Jocelyn enjoys reading, running, music, and Nashville Predators Hockey.
Daniel Brown, MHSPAS, PA-C

Daniel received his Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Prior to completing his graduate studies, Daniel attended Belmont University where he played division 1 college soccer and majored in Exercise Science with a minor in biology. In addition to his PA studies, Daniel is a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS.) In his free time, Daniel enjoys running, kayaking, playing soccer, and watching sports.
