Provide professional orthopedic physical therapy care for clinic patients. Perform clinical tasks and patient care to include evaluations, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, any appropriate modalities, and any documentation related to these activities. Evaluate, formulate a plan of care, establish goals, and perform any treatment procedures required to meet treatment goals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Evaluate and treat patients and complete appropriate documentation in a timely fashion
• Supervise technicians
• Develop protocols and patient education materials
• Assist supervisor in daily operational duties as needed
• Participate in and help foster an environment of continued learning in our pursuit of clinical excellence
• Communicate appropriately with physicians and their staff on patient care issues
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations
• Maintain all continuing education and licensure requirements

• Master’s, or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
• Extensive training in orthopedic care preferred
• Manual Therapy skills preferred
• Management experience preferred
• Physical Therapist must be licensed in the state of Tennessee

• Minimum of two years of experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
• Ability to manage multiple patients and administer appropriate modalities
• Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and exercise prescription
• Working knowledge of manual therapy techniques
• Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes, and basic knowledge of insurance-related issues
• Work towards Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association or Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine is preferred
