Lauren Hartman – Director of Administration
I started with Elite in 2011 at the Front Desk. After working there for a little over one year, I transitioned to Scheduling and Worker’s Comp, where I spent another year. Following that, I moved into Human Resources before eventually working with our CEO, Justin, as an Office Manager. After leaving to have a baby, I came back to Elite as the Human Resources Manager, and now, I am the Director of Administration. It’s been quite the journey!
Having the chance to hold all of these positions, I have been able to grow tremendously throughout the years. From working at the front desk – where we interact with a wide variety of patients – to working in management, where I’ve learned how to coach team members, I’ve been able to grow my skills into a leading role.
I’m proud of both our doctors and our staff. The doctors are, hands down, the best at what they do. They work incredibly hard and their top priority is making sure the patients get the best care. And every member of our team serves a critical role in providing that care. We work hard, but at the same time, we keep it fun. We stay true to our core values and focus on taking ownership.
I’d say my time here has been truly rewarding. My career has developed incredibly from the opportunities Elite has given me, and it is partly why I’ve found myself staying here over the years. I also think that it’s really cool that I get to enjoy coming to work each day. There aren’t a whole lot of people that get to say that!
Jennifer McCloud – Physician Liaison
I’m Jenni and I’ve been with Elite for a total of 11 years! I love it here because of all the people I work with: the patients, my co-workers and, of course, the doctors. I’m so of proud our physicians. They are the best and strive to reflect that in their patient care. Their dedication trickles down to the staff and I wholeheartedly believe that everyone here wants to make sure that we provide the best experience possible for our patients. That is something to be proud of.
I wake up each day and know that I’m going to contribute in helping someone – that’s a great feeling! I’ve basically grown up here at Elite. I’ve learned so much, not only about orthopaedic injuries and treatments, but also about how a practice runs behind the scenes. I’ve done a little bit of everything and all of that experience has helped me in my current position as the physician liaison.
I would tell anyone considering a career with Elite that this is a wonderful place to work with plenty of room to grow. When I started here, it was just Dr. Elrod and a handful of employees. Since then, we have added 10 more physicians and numerous midlevels, added our own physical therapy department, our own MRI scanners, and four more office locations! I can only imagine what is in store for Elite’s future. I’m honored to be along for the ride!
Rick Willard – Imaging Team Lead
Hello, my name is Rick Willard and I’ve been with Elite since 2005. One thing I’ve discoverd over the years is how incredible the people here are. The doctors are amazing and care about each and every patient. They make an impact on these people’s lives, so much so that we have quite a few employees at Elite that used to be patients themselves.
I take pride having the word Elite on my shirt. It is such a well respected company around Nashville that you get random people coming up to you and telling you about the time we helped them through their injury. Dr. Elrod has always wanted to make sure he is able to help the fire department, police, veterans, and all those that help the community. Knowing that our patients are receiving the best treatment for their injury is what makes this job worth it.
Something that Elite has taught me is how to focus responsibility. I’ve learned how to manage all the responsibilities that come with a position like this and the importance of taking ownership in my role. Elite gave me an opportunity to grow and the comradery here is tremendous.
Sierra Replogle – Front Desk Specialist
Hi, I’m Sierra and I’ve been with Elite for two and a half years! It’s hard trying to pick out just one reason why I love it so much here, but if I had to, I’d say because we’re a big, happy family. Some of my best friends are the people that I work alongside!
The patient care here is awesome! When you go out, you’ll get stopped by people and they’ll tell you that so-and-so is the best doctor and I love going there. It’s such a prestigious workplace and it seems that so many people know who we are!
Getting to work the front desk, I have the opportunity to really get to know our patients. You see them come in looking for pain relief, or something to help them get back to normal, and then you see them again post-op and the difference is night and day! They come back so happy and it’s a joy to be there for that.
I always tell people that Elite took me when I was a baby and helped me grow into who I am today. This company gives you the opportunity to ask questions, get answers, and grow.
