Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dr. Moore attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on the prestigious Morehead Scholarship. While at UNC he majored in Biology and Economics and was a member of the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team (4-year Monogram Winner). He continued his studies at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN where he earned his medical degree and performed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Moore completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship with Dr. James Andrews, at the American Sports Medicine Institute (AMSI) in Birmingham, AL where he served as Team Physician for Tuskegee University and Assistant Team Physician for the Washington Redskins.

Dr. Moore is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

Dr. Moore specializes in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. He is currently the team physician for Fisk University, David Lipscomb High School and Lipscomb University, and he served as head team physician for the Nashville Predators from 2007-2008.
