Dr. R. Chris Glattes specializes in Surgery of the Spine. Dr. Glattes graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and continued his medical training with an internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his orthopaedic training with a spine fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Glattes is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Medical Association. He served as an assistant professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine for four years prior to joining Elite Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Dr. Glattes’ specialties include: sports related injuries to the spine, cervical spine surgery, work-related injuries, adult spinal disorders, and cervical trauma.
